DataSolutions Announces UK Distribution Agreement with Cyxtera Technologies

DataSolutions has secured a UK distribution agreement with Cyxtera Technologies, which provides cyber-resilient colocation infrastructure to enterprises around the world.

This new partnership will strengthen Cyxtera Technologies’ presence in the UK and Irish markets, where demand for colocation solutions and facilities is increasing rapidly.

Cyxtera Technologies has one of the largest global footprints in the colocation industry and provides a world-class service which helps DataSolutions and its partners to drive growth, increase sales and future-proof operations.

Cyxtera Technologies fulfills the demand for hybrid cloud and data center capacity with 100 percent Uptime SLAs and a global platform which has more Uptime Institute M&O-approved data centers than any other provider in the world.

Along with traditional colocation, the US vendor offers an alternative to public cloud: the Cyxtera Extensible Data Center platform (CXD). Not only does it transform IT infrastructure design and configuration, it enables the deployment of data center network connectivity and services IN MINUTES.

Francis O’Haire, DataSolutions’ CTO said, “Cyxtera’s CXD service, which offers Nutanix HCI nodes on-demand, is a perfect compliment to DataSolutions’ existing Nutanix distribution business. Hyperconverged infrastructure is rapidly becoming the de-facto way of building simple to manage yet robust and scalable enterprise cloud infrastructure and Nutanix is a clear leader in the market.”

He further adds “With Cyxtera, our Partners can further differentiate their offerings while addressing their customers’ demand for OPEX driven consumption models without having to resort to public cloud for sensitive workloads.”

Cyxtera Technologies has also invested heavily in Nutanix infrastructure and CXD means Nutanix can be offered ON-DEMAND to customers for primary, disaster recovery and remote office environments.

SAVE THE DATE! DataSolutions will be holding a Cyxtera Technologies event in the UK on Thursday, 26th September. Further details will be provided shortly.
