DataSolutions, the specialist IT distributor, has announced the launch of the inaugural Ultimate IT Channel Charity Football Tournament. The tournament will take place on Tuesday, 29th May, in Astro Park Tallaght, Greenhills Road, Dublin 24, and all proceeds raised from the event will be donated to Dublin Simon Community.

DataSolutions’ event will bring together IT industry peers to compete for the prestigious Irish IT Channel Champions Cup and the title of IT Channel Football Champions 2018. The winning team will have their company name engraved on the trophy, which they will hold on to with pride until the 2019 competition.

Michael O’Hara, group managing director, DataSolutions, said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of the Ultimate IT Channel Charity Football Tournament. We’re a competitive bunch in the Irish IT industry and now we’re challenging companies to shed the suits and put on the boots to compete for the title of 2018 IT Channel Football Champions.

“All proceeds will be donated to Dublin Simon Community so if you’re looking to support a good cause, are up for a bit of fun with your peers in the industry and have a group of aspiring footballers in the office, then don’t delay – register your team and we’ll see you on the 29th of May!”
