David Keating, Group Security Sales Director

With more than 25 years’ experience in the IT industry, David is responsible for the field and internal sales teams in the UK and Ireland that look after the Security & Networking portfolio of technologies within DataSolutions.

David joined DataSolutions in 2001 to build up the company’s brand-new Security division and successfully launched DataSolutions as the distributor of choice for world-wide market leading vendors such as Check Point Software, RSA Security and HPE Aruba.

In his role as Group Security Sales Director, David works with customers and partners focused on IT Security and Networking. He has a strong technical background and works with partners to simplify complex technology solutions that they can bring to their customer base.

With extensive knowledge in all aspects of IT security, he hosts the annual Secure Computing Forum and regularly speaks at various industry events and his opinion is often sought by the national and trade press.
